Happy small business Saturday!! This year, in addition to creating myself, I’m making an effort to buy presents for family and friends through some of the great makers & businesses I’ve found within the past year. The following is a quick list of some of these makers, businesses, and services.
Beyond me plugging myself this is not at all a sponsored post. I’m just sharing a little Milwaukee vendor love with all of you. Some of these folx are just getting started & some have been around for a while & they’re all worth checking out.
- Soulroost – I’ve just gotten back into painting. It is quite theraputic for me + I really do think art is for everyone so I have one of a kind affordable paintings listed here (The stop is currently closed because I’m at an event today but it will reopen tomorrow). Someday soon there will be prints too.
- High Tea – High Tea (pictured above) is a lovely Milwaukee company which sells CBD honey + a few other products. I have used so much of their honey over the past year. Right now they have elderberry honey in stock which is absolutely delicious and helps combat those winter colds.
- Leaf & Luna – Leaf & Luna crafts really fabulous handmade jewelry. They currently have a tear drop necklace in their shop that I adore + a lot of their pieces are currently on sale.
- Hundred Grasses | Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine – Feeling a little burned out on the holiday season or looking to take care of someone else? Hundred Grasses is a great way to find a way to re-center & take care of yourself. Krista uses Traditional Chinese Medicine to give individualized and holistic care to her clients through acupuncture and other techniques.
- Queering Candles – Really pretty found vintage items turned into candles using natural WI beewax. Did you know that natural beewax candles have a burn time of 8.5 hours per oz? All of their items are so wonderful & so unique.
- MJ Creative Co – Mariah creates some of the most adorable personalized gifts. She just released a Pantone glassware set that is absolutely awesome (and I may have ordered a couple for people in my life already).
- Feral Works – Micah does some crazy amazing work. If you have a horror fan in your life you must check their eye pendants out. Also, if you are an office fan – click through – you will not be disappointed.
Or Kitchecoo Unique Gifts and Classes to find exactly what you’d expect…super unique hand made items and gifts. If you want something a little more personalized consider creating a Make n’ Take – you can create your own present in store.
- Two is for Mirth – Lane makes absolutely stunning handmade jewelry from pendants to earrings to cuff links. She’s got you covered in jewelry made with intention.
- Art of Quinn – Custom illustrations plus pet portraits & embroideries. PET EMBROIDERIES.
- Ramie and Co. – Their polymer clay earrings are so so fabulous. Glitter, patterns, fab geometric shapes, or something simpler – they’ve got it all
- Sweet Mettle – Hand stamped jewelry. Their constellation earrings are amazing – the detail is fantastic.
- CW Slaven Co. – Custom signs and furniture made by a husband and wife team!
- Chelsea.Stitch – Chelsea makes cross stitch family portraits and other hand embroidery products. Everything she makes is so cute.
- Knotty Craft Girls – Hand made scarves, hats, plus other rad wearables. I have a serious thing about hats during the winter and these look so warm & fashionable.
- Lauren Marvell – Illustrations, cards, and cute little pins. My favorite thing in their shop is a Cudahy city map illustration. I don’t live in Cudahy but if I did – I’d be excited to put it on my wall.
- Victress Vibes – A new sustainable woman-owned clothing brand with inclusive sizing (yay)! Their hand printed designs are wonderful
- Wakefield Workshops – Custom home decor & on site painting parties. What a great way to make the holidays memorable.
