You all know I love an intimate wedding. The past few years have been full of them and it has really fed my soul. Katie and Danny’s intimate wedding ceremony at Old St Mary’s was no exception, and I loved every second of it.
It was a gorgeous June day and made even more beautiful by the love shown by their closest family. Like many others, Katie and Danny are holding off on their big celebration until things are a little safer, but they still wanted to tie the know close to their original date. Choosing to plan an intimate ceremony was the perfect way to do that.
The ceremony at Old St. Mary’s was short and sweet. The architecture at Old St. Mary’s was the perfect backdrop for them to exchange vows and make their marriage official. After the ceremony, we stopped to grab a few group photos on the front steps of the church. The love and excitement surrounding Katie and Danny was so special to witness.
We then headed over to the Calatrava for formal photos with Katie and Danny. We had to continue with the theme of cool architecture, of course. Katie and Danny are full of joy, and it’s obvious in the photos. They laughed the whole time and pure joy and love radiated from them both throughout the photos. They’re truly unafraid to let their love for each other spill over, and it’s a photographer’s dream.
I truly can’t wait to share in this love and joy again for their large celebration, but for now, here are some of my favorites from their intimate wedding ceremony at Old St Mary’s.
