Abby and Myke’s wedding day was the perfect reminder that sometimes, simplicity makes space for the sweetest moments. Their celebration at Warner Park in Madison was short, beautiful, and full of genuine joy—and I loved every second of it.
The day began with a quick first look, just the two of them taking a quiet moment before walking down the aisle. From there, things moved right into their ceremony, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them. The backdrop? The lovely community center at Warner Park, with its wall of windows letting in soft, natural light and creating the most beautiful setting for their vows.
After the ceremony, we stepped out into the park for portraits. The sky had that dramatic, almost-stormy look to it—the kind that adds just the right amount of mood and magic to photos without actually raining. Thankfully, the weather held off, and the result was a gorgeous, glowy evening that made Abby and Myke’s images feel extra special.
These two knew exactly what they wanted out of their day: something small, personal, and focused on the moments that mattered most. I was honored to be there to document those highlights, and even with just a few hours of coverage, we were able to capture so much love.
Abby and Myke, thank you for letting me be a part of your day. It was a joy to photograph your celebration.
And to anyone planning a wedding—whether it’s an all-day affair or a simple, heartfelt ceremony in the park—know this: no big day is too small to capture in a meaningful way.
