Carissa and Will’s engagement session at the Milwaukee Art Museum was such a fun one! We met up at the art museum campus. The campus is one of my favorite places for variety and we spent the evening wandering through a mix of sleek architecture and summer greenery. It’s the kind of setting that lets you lean into both modern lines and soft, romantic vibes, and these two were totally up for it.
From the moment we started shooting, Carissa and Will had the best energy. Easy to talk to, quick to laugh, and totally comfortable being themselves in front of the camera. That combination always makes for magic. Whether they were sharing a quiet moment or joking around between shots, it was clear how much fun they have together — and how much joy they bring to everyone around them.
And of course, no session with Carissa and Will would be complete without a little Star Wars flair. We wrapped up the evening with an impromptu lightsaber duel by the lakefront (yes, actual lightsabers — and yes, they’re bringing them to their wedding too!). It was the perfect mix of personal, playful, and totally them.
I’m already counting down the days until their wedding — if it’s anything like their engagement session, it’s going to be unforgettable.
