Cate + Taylor | University of Wisconsin Memorial Union Wedding | Madison Wedding Photographer

This was such a special wedding because it was the wedding of one of my best friends. I’ve been friends with Cate since high school. Yeesh, that’s a long time and is making me feel old. Taylor & Cate have such a wonderful bond – they’ve traveled the globe & now reside in California but made their way back to Madison for the Memorial Union wedding. They started their day at their hotel with a first look & then we walked a few blocks taking images along the way until arriving at Memorial Union. UW’s entire campus is gorgeous and Memorial Union is no different. I end up at the union a lot for posed formals while I’m in Madison for weddings but this was my first ceremony/reception at the union. It was awesome to take family photos in the front of the building as well as be able to catch the gorgeous sunset at the end of the day.
