There’s something really special about watching a family grow—and getting to document each new chapter along the way. Sweet baby Charlotte recently came into the studio for her newborn session, and she brought the whole crew with her. I’ve had the privilege of photographing each of the siblings as newborns, and it’s such a joy to see how their personalities unfold over the first year. Each session feels like catching up with old friends—and meeting a brand new one.
Charlotte’s siblings were full of excitement and love, happily jumping in for a few shots with their new baby sister before I turned the spotlight on Charlotte alone. She was calm, cuddly, and just the sweetest little thing—an absolute dream to photograph.
One of my favorite traditions with this family is incorporating a special handmade baby blanket into each session. It was originally gifted to oldest sister Alison and has become a quiet thread connecting each child’s newborn portraits. With each new baby wrapped in its soft folds, it’s quickly becoming a cherished family heirloom—and I love seeing how it shows up differently in each session.
Charlotte’s session was peaceful and full of love, the perfect start to her story. I can’t wait to see how much she changes and grows by the time her 6-month session rolls around!
