Julia + Trey | Grant Park Engagement Session

Important reminder: Be silly. Have fun with your partner when you hang out with me during your session. It creates some amazing moments for y’all to look back on. I promise. I may offer up some weird prompts – just go with it. They’re there to make you both laugh a little.

I’ve known Julia since we were little kiddos (she was in my sister’s class in school), so when she asked me to photograph her wedding next year I was so pumped. Julia and Trey walked into their engagement session ready to have fun with their photos and that is exactly what happened. These two play off each other so well – taking cues from each other’s silliness and making each other laugh all session. I was laughing too!

We started our session walking around Kinnickinnic in the Bay view area of Milwaukee. Pink Pabst elephants anyone? After we finished up walking around in the Bay View area we headed over to Grant park to finish up our session. If you are from the area and happen upon Grant park in the fall you might know how packed the park can get on the weekend – especially in the fall . But there’s a good reason for it – the tones in Grant park are my absolute favorite. It is gorgeous there all the time but the fall specifically is maybe the best time of year. Can’t wait to blog Julia & Trey’s South Shore wedding! It’s going to be amazing!
