Kim + Mitch | Retzer Nature Center Engagement

As Kim and Mitch were arriving for their engagement session at Retzer nature center I was huddled under some trees near the entrance since it was sprinkling – sometimes nature can be a little unpredictable but Kim & Mitch rolled with it! Retzer in fall is always gorgeous even if their is a bit of drizzle –

love the playful images we captured wandering around the nature center. These two have great laughs and were up for a little bit of silliness while we were taking their photos. I definitely have some favorite places to photograph couples at Retzer BUT we also found a few areas which I had not explored before which was a ton of fun.

Kim & Mitch brought their pup along for their engagement photos (he’ll also be featured in some of their wedding day photos) which I love! He was such a sweetie. I am always up for couples bringing their puppers to sessions but always suggest a pup wrangler – luckily Kim’s sister stepped in to help with this little guy during their session.
