Lauren + Michael | Best Place Wedding

Lauren and Michael’s Best Place wedding wasn’t your typical wedding. And you all know I love those atypical wedding celebrations!

Lauren and Michael started off the day by gathering for a first look, which was extra special (and adorable) because their daughter was involved. We then made some time for posed formal photos outside in Zilber Park, just like we would on a typical wedding day. Then we went inside the Brewhouse Inn and Suites as it started to sprinkle outside. But instead of continuing with a traditional timeline, we went right into their party!

While we were in the hotel Lauren and Michael had the opportunity to hang out with their wedding party a bit, have a little toast, get some snacks for their kiddo, and just relax before their reception began. Honestly, that sounds to me like the ideal way to spend your wedding afternoon – chilling with drinks and snacks with your favorite people. Yes please.

To make everything even more relaxed, Lauren and Michael chose the Pabst area, which is awesome because it’s so compact. Everything is within a three minute walk – photo spots, hotel relaxation, and reception party. So, it was super easy and quick for the group to mosey over to the great hall for the reception just as guests were starting to arrive. Everyone was so excited to finally see each other and celebrate post-pandemic. There were smiles all around and tons of laughs.

As the evening went on, there were speeches (that included jello shots!), your typical wedding dances, and a bunch of time on the dance floor for everyone. It was so casual, fun, and meaningful because it was exactly perfect for Lauren and Michael and the perfect example of what a Best Place wedding should be.
