Andrea and Mike’s engagement session between Lake Park & the Milwaukee Art Museum is what summer dreams are made of: romantic vibes with an overall contemporary feel. It was a lot of fun to photograph these two!
Andrea had a pretty good idea of what she wanted her engagement session with Mike to look like and included her ideas when she first contacted me via instagram. She said she’d really like something a little more on the relaxed side and to utilize negative space in the images. To which I said – I got you. We met up at Lake Park and wandered down to one of the off the beaten path areas to start the session.
After we finished up at Lake Park we went over to the art museum campus. The great thing about the Milwaukee Art Museum is that there are so many cool areas around the building. The building itself is gorgeous, of course, but the surrounding area has so much to offer as well. We spent a bit of time wandering around around the campus before finishing up next nearer to the building.
Andrea and Mike also brought a bottle of champagne for a little toast during their session. I think this is a really cute idea that is becoming more popular with couples – bringing a little bottle to pop (or picnic/ something or other if you do not drink) is such a cute way to bring a little action to your session.
