I’ve been lucky enough to photograph the “W” family since their daughter Mabel was just a baby, and every session with them is such a joy. Watching their family grow—and seeing both kiddos’ personalities blossom—has been such a privilege.
This year, we headed to one of my favorite spots in Milwaukee: the lakefront in the fall. Between the golden leaves at Lake Park and the soft, calming waves at the beach, it was a perfect backdrop. The kids kept me on my toes (in the best way), darting around with endless energy and contagious giggles. Honestly, that’s my favorite part—capturing those in-between, joy-filled moments that perfectly reflect who they are right now.
I can’t wait to see how these two keep growing and changing—but for now, I’m just grateful I get to freeze these fleeting seasons for their family to look back on for years to come.
