Leia and Ricky’s Beulah Brinton House wedding was a really sweet, intimate affair. This intimate wedding trend that has popped up as a result of Covid is giving me life. I absolutely love these small weddings and the opportunity they give me to really get to know my couples and their closest friends and family.
Leia and Ricky had their ceremony and reception at the historic Beulah Brinton House in Bay View. This was a really cool wedding for me to photograph because I grew up hanging out in this house as it used to be owned by a member of my grandpa’s coffee club. It was definitely a full circle moment for me and brought back so many happy childhood memories!
In that vein we poked around a couple of ‘secret’ areas to take posed formals before their ceremony and it was amazing! It isn’t very often you can get that forest vibe in the city but I knew just the spot. All of those hours spent exploring as a kid really paid off!
Their ceremony, which was officiated by Ricky’s sister, was so sweet and I swear not a second went by that Leia didn’t have the biggest smile on her face. The reception was the same, full of laughter, cake smashing, and lovely conversations during dinner at their kings table. The entire day was super special because it was so intimate. All the people who were in attendance were super happy for the couple and Leia and Ricky were able to spend a lot of time chatting, reminiscing, and relaxing on their day. Their Beulah Brinton House wedding was absolute perfection and I can’t wait for their bigger celebration next year.
