Emily and Brandon’s wedding at The George and Madcap Lounge was an absolutely beautiful day and an unforgettable celebration from start to finish. The venue is already gorgeous on its own, but once they added their personal touches and transformed the space, it truly reflected their style and energy.
The day began with two sweet and emotional first looks. Emily met her dad first for a quiet moment that was incredibly touching. Then she and Brandon saw each other for the first time, just the two of them, followed by private vows that felt deeply personal and meaningful. I always love when couples carve out time for private vows — it’s such a powerful way to connect before everything kicks into high gear.
We stayed nearby for photos with their wedding party and even made our way up to the rooftop deck for a few portraits with the city as our backdrop. It was the perfect mix of elegant and relaxed — just like them.
As guests began to arrive, they were greeted with glasses of champagne and invited to settle in for the ceremony. Afterward, the celebration flowed seamlessly into cocktail hour. But one of the absolute highlights came when the wedding party made their grand entrance into the reception… dressed in full dinosaur costumes. Yes — you read that right. It was a surprise for Brandon, who’s a huge Jurassic Park fan, and it was everything.
The rest of the evening was a whirlwind of heartfelt speeches, packed dance floors, and nonstop fun. Getting to document it all was such a gift — I can’t wait to see what adventures come next for these two.
